Pocketed Spring Mattress
The pocketed spring mattress is drastically different from standard innerspring mattresses. They create an entirely independent suspension system comprised of several hundred individually fabric-encased springs. No one spring is physically tied to (or impacted by) another, allowing for a superior level of support with numerous benefits.
Pocketed Spring Mattress Advantages
Whereas innersprings tend to be less capable of conforming to your body’s natural curvature, mattresses with pocketed springs individually adjust to each zone of your body.
NO MOTION TRANSFER
Couples love pocketed spring mattresses due to the fact that they provide exceptional isolation of motion – meaning one partner’s movement won’t disturb the other’s sleep.
Pocketed springs provide superior energy return and bounce when compared to other types of support core materials such as foam.

The History of Pocketed Spring
James Marshall, a British-born inventor, introduced what he called the Marshall coil in 1899. Today, it is referred to as the pocketed spring for its fabric encasement Marshall wrapped each individual spring inside. This not only prevented any one spring from getting entangled with adjacent springs, but it also prevented the squeaking sound that comes with lower quality innerspring designs.
